Passiflora foetida / Wild Water Lemon / Stinking Passion Flower
Fast-growing vine, particularly in warm, wet, tropical regions. Grow like most passion vines. The leaves give off a fetid odor but the flowers have a pleasant minty smell. Fruits are small and grow to about an inch. There are red and yellow ripening types.
Native to tropical America. Has now spread throughout the tropics in America, Asia, and the Pacific Islands where it is an invasive weed.
Usually eaten fresh or used to flavor drinks. The fruit, flowers and leaves have a variety of medicinal properties. Young leaves and plant tips are also edible. While its ripe fruit are edible, its leaves contain cyanic acid and are thought to be poisonous to people and livestock. Dry leaves are also used in tea in vietnamese folk medicine to relieve sleeping problems, as well as treatment for itching and coughs.

P.S. Tanaman itu tumbuh liar di rooftop kosan (tempat nyuci & jemur 😂 ). Semacam ‘menemukan sesuatu yang menarik tiba-tiba’. Terus keinget pas SMP-SMA suka banget sama biologi apalagi tentang tumbuhan.
